Pain points
-
Air leaking into the receiver
Leakage through the tip gap erodes the receiver vacuum and the blower has to run harder. Closed-ended rotors with adjustable tips keep leakage under 3 % of the conveying airflow.
-
Rotor stall under a product column
A stopped rotor under a full receiver packs the pocket and the drive trips on overload. A torque limiter and a rotor speed monitor trip the feeder before the pocket packs solid.
-
Seal failure from dust and vacuum pull
The pressure difference pulls dust into the end-cover seals. A leakage gas collector balances the end cover so the bearing cavity stays clean and the seals run dry.
