Pain points
-
Sticky powder blinding the pockets
Milk powder takes up moisture and builds on the pocket walls until the rotor plugs. Polished Ra 0.4 µm pockets and a helical rotor that scours the inlet keep the walls clear.
-
Wet cleaning between runs
Water sits in the body after washdown and the valve does not dry. A quick-release rail drops the rotor out so the body drains and dries within one shift.
-
Caking under the silo outlet
Hygroscopic powder cakes where the inlet is narrow and the first material in condenses. An oversized inlet and a low-shear helical rotor feed the caked layer instead of cutting into it.
